Uncle Si’s Fans Send Prayers After Learning He’s Been In The Hospital
Duck Dynasty star Uncle Si is currently in the hospital, his podcast co-host Justin Martin confirmed.
Martin hosts the Duck Call Room podcast with Si, John-David Owen, John Godwin, Jay Stone, Jacob Mayo, and Phillip McMillan. The guys talk about their faith, families, work at Duck Commander, hunting, Duck Dynasty, and more.
Uncle Si is often the star of the show, with his hilarious stories and antics cracking up his co-hosts and any guests they bring along for the ride.

Knowing how the rumor mill runs, Martin wanted to get ahead of things by sharing the news that Uncle Si has been in the hospital. In a post he shared on Wednesday (October 1), Martin said Si “was having a little trouble whooping a severe sinus infection.”
Despite that, Martin said Si is doing “very well” and should be discharged soon. “He’s very much on the mend,” Martin wrote.
He uploaded a photo of the Duck Call Room guys visiting Si in the hospital. He promised to share the whole story about Si’s hospitalization on an upcoming episode of the podcast.
Martin’s post received a flurry of comments from fans who sent their prayers and well-wishes to Si. Some of those comments were:

John-David Owen commented that Si was still being a jokester, writing, “He had us cracking up even in the hospital room.“

Earlier This Year, Uncle Si Went To The Emergency Room After Falling From A Boat
Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time Uncle Si’s been in the hospital this year. In January, he spent some time in the emergency room after falling off a boat while duck hunting in Arkansas with Martin and some other friends.
“He fell trying to get out of the boat…it’s steep right there. He went to take a long step instead of waiting on us,” Martin recalled.
Si fell on his oxygen machine. He wasn’t acting like his usual self, and Martin became concerned that he had suffered a concussion. Three days later, after they were back home in Louisiana, Uncle Si went to the ER, where he was in a significant amount of pain and had low oxygen numbers.
Thankfully, Si didn’t break any ribs, and his oxygen levels soon returned to normal. He appeared on the Duck Call Room shortly after his ER trip to assure fans he was feeling much better.
Fans have since seen Si on the Robertson family’s new series, Duck Dynasty: The Revival. The first season wrapped up earlier this year, and a second season is slated for release. Season 1 starts streaming on Hulu on October 16.
