Phil Robertson once said that if you’ve been rescued, you should follow the one who has the power to remove your sin.

Introduction

There comes a moment in life when we realize we could never have saved ourselves.

We tried our own way.
We followed our own plans.
We searched for peace in places that could never truly satisfy.

Yet even in our wandering, Jesus never stopped reaching for us.

He didn’t come to make bad people a little better.
He came to rescue lost people and give them new life.

That’s why following Christ isn’t about rules, religion, or obligation. It’s about gratitude.

When someone pulls you from the storm, you don’t forget them.
When someone saves your life, you don’t walk away as if nothing happened.

Jesus carried our sins, offered us grace we could never earn, and opened the door to a future filled with hope.

The more we understand the depth of His love, the more naturally we want to follow Him.

Salvation is not a reward for the worthy—it is a gift for those willing to believe.

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.” — Ephesians 2:8
