Introduction
BROOKS & DUNN ARE FINALLY GETTING READY TO RELEASE NEW ORIGINAL MUSIC — AFTER NEARLY 20 YEARS, THE LEGENDARY COUNTRY DUO MAY BE ENTERING AN EXCITING NEW CHAPTER!
Country music fans have a reason to get excited! Ronnie Dunn has confirmed that new music from Brooks & Dunn is “ready and on the way,” offering the clearest sign yet that the legendary duo is preparing to release original material for the first time in nearly two decades.
Their last album of original songs, Cowboy Town, arrived in 2007. Since then, Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn have continued to celebrate their incredible legacy through projects like Reboot and Reboot II, reimagining their classic hits alongside a new generation of country artists.
But now, the wait for something entirely new may finally be coming to an end.
Dunn previously revealed that the duo had returned to songwriting, taking their time to make sure the new material was worth sharing with their loyal fans. Rather than rushing the process, Brooks & Dunn appear determined to bring the same heart, energy, and unmistakable country sound that made them one of the most successful duos in the genre’s history.
For longtime fans, this is about more than a new album. It’s the possibility of hearing fresh songs from two artists whose music has been part of countless memories, from late-night drives to unforgettable moments of love and heartbreak.
No release date or tracklist has been announced yet, but Dunn’s latest update has certainly raised expectations.
