One of the coolest moment of my working life…. Meeting Anne Burrell. May she rest in peace. I remember seeing her walk into the line at Great American Bagel at the Savannah airport, where I worked at the time… Now I saw different famous people all the time and I just let them go by but when I saw her I needed a picture… always been a huge fan.. hurt my heart when she passed away.. but so glad I got to meet her …I’ll never forget she asked for her bagel to have the bread pulled and the person on the line was new so I showed them how to do it… she smiled and said “everybody has a first day” …. May she rest in peace….
