Introduction
**BROOKS & DUNN ARE FINALLY GETTING READY TO RELEASE NEW MUSIC — AND FANS HAVE REASON TO BE EXCITED!**
After nearly 19 years without a new album of original songs, Ronnie Dunn has given fans a promising update. Responding to a fan’s Instagram post about the duo’s Saturday night show at Bridgestone Arena, Ronnie shared four simple words: **“Ready and on the way.”**
Their last album of original material, *Cowboy Town*, arrived in 2007. Since then, Brooks & Dunn have revisited their legendary catalog through *Reboot* (2019) and *Reboot II* (2024), teaming up with younger artists to give their classic hits a fresh sound.
But new music has been on the horizon for a while. Back in 2024, Ronnie revealed that the duo had been building up a collection of songs, with the project roughly 75% complete. He also made it clear that they were in no rush, choosing to take their time and get things right.
Now, his latest message has reignited excitement among country music fans. With 23 No. 1 hits and approximately 30 million records sold, Brooks & Dunn have already secured their place in country music history. Yet their story may still have another chapter to write.
For longtime fans, this isn’t just about a new album. It’s about hearing two familiar voices come together again with fresh songs, the unmistakable energy, and the country sound that made them legends.
