Rory Feek And The Christmas Morning He Became “That Guy” In Traffic

🚨🚗 RORY FEEK ADMITS HE BECAME “THAT GUY” IN TRAFFIC — BUT THE REASON HE WAS RACING ACROSS NASHVILLE IS SO WHOLESOME, IT’S HARD NOT TO SMILE. 😂❤️

Christmas morning is supposed to be about family, peace, and joy. But for Rory Feek, one particular Christmas morning turned into a frantic race against the clock.

With Rebecca away, Rory and his daughter Indiana had been enjoying some quiet father-daughter time together. Then Rory had an important promise to keep.

He was scheduled to read his children’s book, Once Upon the Very First Christmas, at a preschool Christmas program.

There was only one problem.

🚗 Traffic came to a complete standstill.

At first, his GPS said he would arrive before 8:00 a.m. Then the arrival time changed to 8:20… and soon to 8:30.

Dozens of children and hundreds of parents were already waiting.

Rory began to panic.

And then he did something he openly admits he normally hates seeing other drivers do:

He jumped the line. 😂💨

Horns started honking. And judging by the reaction of the other drivers, there were probably a few words exchanged that had absolutely nothing to do with saying “Merry Christmas.”

But Rory had somewhere important to be.

And thankfully, he made it.

Minutes later, the man who had been desperately trying to escape Nashville traffic was standing onstage, reading the story of the birth of Jesus while children dressed as cows, donkeys, and sheep sang around him. 🎄🙏❤️

Then Indiana created one of the sweetest moments of the entire morning.

She took her own baby doll, Eliza Mae, and gently placed her into the manger.

It was a simple gesture, but it captured the heart of Christmas perfectly. 🥹❤️

Later, Rory humorously apologized to anyone he had cut off on the road.

His explanation?

He was in a really, really big hurry

Because the birth of baby Jesus was about to happen. 😂🙏

What started as a stressful morning filled with traffic, rushing, and frustrated drivers ended with children singing, a Christmas story being shared, and a precious father-daughter memory that Rory and Indiana would likely never forget.

Sometimes the most chaotic moments become the stories we laugh about for years.

And in Rory’s case, perhaps becoming “that guy” in traffic was worth it after all. 😂❤️

🎄 What do you think? Would you forgive Rory for cutting into traffic if he was racing to a Christmas program for the children? 👇
