Rory Feek, born on April 25, 1965, in Atchison, Kansas, is a distinguished American country music singer-songwriter. He began playing guitar at the age of 15, influenced by artists like Don Williams and Merle Haggard. After serving in the United States Marine Corps, Feek moved to Nashville in 1995 to pursue a songwriting career. He achieved early success with hits such as Collin Raye’s “Someone You Used to Know” in 1998 and Blake Shelton’s “Some Beach” in 2004.
