Toby Keith’s Son, Stelen Covel, Welcomes First Child With Wife Haley

A New Addition to the Covel Family
On August 15, 2025, Stelen Covel, the only son of the late country music legend Toby Keith, and his wife, Haley Covel, announced the arrival of their first child. The couple welcomed a baby girl, naming her Millie Brooks Covel.

Haley shared the joyful news on social media with the sweet caption: “Millie is here 💕 We love you so much little girl.” The post included a precious photo of newborn Millie swaddled in her hospital bassinet with a banner displaying her name.

The Journey to Parenthood
Stelen and Haley, who tied the knot in November 2021, first revealed they were expecting on February 13, 2025. Haley’s announcement read: “Baby Covel coming this summer,” accompanied by ultrasound photos and a baby chick emoji.

Later in the spring, on May 29, Stelen’s sisters, Shelley and Krystal, hosted a stunning baby shower for Haley. The event featured elegant pink-themed decorations and custom cookies by Brown Egg Bakery, which hinted the couple was expecting a baby girl — though they hadn’t publicly anounced it at the time.

 

Remembering Toby Keith’s Legacy
Stelen is the youngest of Toby Keith and Tricia Covel’s three children. While Toby Keith became a household name with hits like “Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue” and “Should’ve Been a Cowboy,” his legal last name was actually Covel. Keith was his middle name, which he used as his professional stage name.

Toby and Tricia also share two daughters, Shelley and Krystal Keith. Krystal followed in her father’s footsteps as a performer, most notably singing alongside him at the 2004 CMA Awards.

The Covel siblings have stood united since Toby Keith’s passing on February 5, 2024, after his battle with stomach cancer. The arrival of baby Millie brings joy and healing to the family during what has been a difficult time.
