Introduction

BROOKS & DUNN ARE STILL WRITING COUNTRY MUSIC HISTORY ❤️🎶
More than three decades after Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn joined forces, Brooks & Dunn are receiving one of country music’s highest honors: the CMA Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award on November 18.
Their story began in 1990, and just one year later, “Brand New Man” launched a remarkable career filled with unforgettable hits like “Neon Moon” and “Boot Scootin’ Boogie.”
Since then, the duo has earned 20 No. 1 hits, sold more than 30 million albums worldwide, moved over 17 million concert tickets, and collected 20 CMA Awards—including an incredible 16 Vocal Duo of the Year trophies.
They entered the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2019, but Brooks & Dunn never simply became a memory. Through the Reboot projects, touring, and songs like “Neon Moon” reaching a new generation, their music continues to live on.
And remarkably, they are still competing for Vocal Duo of the Year in 2026.
A lifetime achievement award for a duo that is still making history—what a fitting tribute to Brooks & Dunn. 🤠❤️
